Seize the Season for Christ!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17
)

Christmas time is here and I'm soooo excited and it has nothing to do with gifts, but everything to do with sharing Christ! I love that Scripture above because it not only tells us to walk carefully as if walking through a field that has bombs buried at various places within it, but also God is telling us to redeem the time because the days are evil. Now I don't know God's entire plan for your life but one thing I do know--YOU are an Ambassador for Christ and you have a responsibility to the King and Kingdom to share Christ, we all do.

Last July I petitioned my city for a speed bump because there had been several children almost run down by drivers speeding through our neighborhood. Well the city checked into it and after all their data was submitted they said they couldn't give us a speed bump because most people were only speeding by 3 miles. I was bummed, but appreciated them looking into it. Much to my delight though was another piece of information on that report--the city engineer stated that atleast 273 cars pass through my neighborhood daily, I couldn't believe it! Well when I read that I knew what I had to do, dig out my Christmas decorations(on Nov 1st mind you LOL!)----which included my big beautiful lighted garland cross. I rejoice knowing that atleast 273 people will be able to see the cross all lit up with a big bow on it. That's what I want for Christmas---SOULS: Saved, Delievered, Set free! As you decorate, buy cards, wrap gifts, look for items that exalt Jesus...when people are exposed to God's Word during this time of the year they seem to be a little softer, less on edge, and more open to the Gospel! Be encouraged and, "SEIZE THE SEASON! " Make the most of every opportunity not just this season but every single day to share Christ with the lost to the glory of God! (-:

Evangelism Memory Verse Luke 5:32

Luke 5:32 (Amplified Bible)

I have not come to arouse and invite and call the righteous, but the erring ones (those not free from sin) to repentance [to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins].

Luke 5:32 (21st Century King James Version)

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Luke 5:32 (New Living Translation)

I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.”

Thankful for Jesus Life and Death

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS for He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. John 3:8

When Jesus came to earth His plan for living was totally different from ours. His plan was to DIE. He didn't concern Himself with a wife, He wasn't interested in starting a business or buying a house. He wasn't here to build an empire, He came to us and for us. He came as God the Son, the Lamb, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, The Word, and He was on a mission. He came to save us and in that, he also destroyed the works of the devil all for our sake...doesn't the knowledge of that right now just make you stop and say,"Thank You LORD!!!"

As Thanksgiving approaches remember what Jesus did for you. Remember how He came to destroy satans hold on you, the culture's hold on you, sins hold on you, your hold on you!!! Remember how He gave His life so we wouldn't have to experience the cup of God's wrath poured out undiluted and furious. Truly we have a lot to be thankful to God for-- for truly God loves us like no other ever could, and proved it by sending His Son.. a part of Himself He sent from Heaven to earth, so we could live life free from sin and the devil. That's truly the greatest thing I'm thankful for---everyday. Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!!

Evangelism Memory Verse John 3:17

John 3:17 (Amplified Bible)

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

John 3:17 (21st Century King James Version)

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:17 (Amplified Bible)

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

No Wrath with Jesus! Thank God!!!

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-10

I sit here sober minded, thankful, in awe, and just soooooooo glad that God had a plan from the foundation of the earth to redeem us. He loved us in Himself, long before we were even thought of and He didn't create us to experience His wrath, but something far better, His love and mercy. From within Himself flows divine love and mercy living perfectly along with, His judgment and His wrath. Here God speaks and we see God showing us His heart for us. He doesn't want to throw us into Hell, He wants to receive us as sons, graft us in, pour His lovingkindness and goodness in us and on us! Salvation by our LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who died for us that whether we are alive or asleep we should live together with Him!
Have you ever lived with somebody either by choice or because of circumstances? Then you know it can be a pleasant experience or an unpleasant one, but one thing is for certain, it is far better to live with Jesus then to live without Him. From this verse sent from Heaven to us, we find the rhyme and reason of all things Jesus! From this sweet eternal Word we get a glimpse of God's supreme love plan for us, Christ's mission, and our responsibility to Him because of it. From it we can tell others that," God didn't create them to hate them, but to save them!!!"
Thank God we will never know His wrath but only experience His love and fellowship because of Christ...THAT'S GOOD NEWS! Tell it!!!!!!! (-:

Evangelism Memory Verse John 3:16

John 3:16 (New Living Translation)

“For God loved the world so much that he gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 (21st Century King James Version)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Amy Carmichael- Champion of Children

But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:14

Born in Ireland Dec 16, 1867 Amy was born into a devout Christian family and as a student she accepted Christ. She had many different experiences that shaped her life. From a life changing encounter with the LORD on the way to a mountain cave, to caring for the the chairman of the famous Keswick Conventions which were Bible conferences that taught on how to have a deeper relationship with God. While caring for the chairman Amy received two words from the LORD, two of the most beautiful words spoken from the LORD--"Go Ye." Although she had been criticized for claiming to hear the voice of the LORD she could do so because she stayed close to him through her prayer life. Amy went on to be a missionary and learned how important it is to blend in with the culture you are trying to win. She once ministered to an elderly woman who was about to give her heart to the LORD but the woman got distracted and offended when she noticed Amy's English attire. Amy traded her clothes for a kimono instead. Later she went to India and in 1901 she formed the Dohnavur Fellowship to rescue children from the dark world of temple service. Amy had rescued, housed, and educated 130 chidren some of which had been "married to the gods."
Amy was devoted to God, a prayer warrior, and had a heart for the lost especially children in danger. She also wrote 35 books and poems, a poem that I have put very close to my heart which speaks of the scars of commitment that a person experiences when following Jesus. May it bless and inspire you as much as it has me.

No wound? No scar?
Yet, as the Master shall the servent be,
And pierced are the feet that follow Me;
But thine are whole: can he have followed far
Who had no wound nor scar?

May you never allow fear, or the opinions of man, lonliness because of your call, or being misunderstood by others keep you from following Christ, and going wherever He sends you. (-:

Evangelism Memory Verse Romans 5:1

Romans 5:1 (21st Century King James Version)

Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 5:1 (Amplified Bible)

Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to [enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Romans 5:1 (New Living Translation)

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

A Captive Audience! Sharing Jesus Directly & Indirectly (-:

First I want to say Thank You to those of you who took an hour out of your Friday joining or listening in later to our first tele conference on Lifestyle Evangelism! The next live conference will be on Friday the 12th when we do it again, so the saints can be encouraged and equipped as they walk already empowered by God, endeavoring to win the lost according to Christ's mandate in Mark 16:15!

Ok so the very next day after the tele conference I had to go to the Dept.of Motor Vehicles, my license plates tags were going to expire Nov 1st and so there I was OUTSIDE in a long, long, line with the rest of the procrastinators!LOL! There was a man in front of me and a young women behind me and about 35-40 of us all altogether. We greeted one another, then the gentleman in front of me just started some small talk and I engaged him in it INTENTIONALLY ...the 7 B's kicked in!
So I just prayed and patiently waited for my opportunity to be intentional to share Christ..then it came. I mentioned to them how I remember having to be in line some Sundays trying to get into our "Parent Church" years ago. The man in front of me commented on church and the young woman behind did too and IT WAS ON! Man I tell you, we had a ball!!! Right there outside in line with a captive audience, those others around us heard it all, from trusting God alone, Salvation, to Jesus making mention of Hell in the Bible more than He mentioned Heaven, to where we went to church and just how thankful we were for our Pastors. We had church for almost 2 1/2 hours! Anybody within earshot of us has no excuse if they stand before the Great White Throne instead of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Let me tell you all--we made the most of that time outside and inside. We weren't shouting, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand" like John and Jesus, but we were loud enough that you could hear about Jesus, how to get to know Him for yourself, and where to go to learn more about Him!!! Glory to God!!!

I told my husband next year I'm intentionally going to do that again!!! Maybe next time, I'll have the boldness to just ask people right there in that line, if after hearing me or whoever speak about the awesomeness of Christ if anybody would like to have their sins forgiven and receive eternal life by acccepting Jesus!!!! Pray for me!!!! (-:
Remember- Make the most of every opportunity, don't let your name be in somebody mouth and memory who's burning in the pits of Hell. Don't let it be said of you that in one way or another when you were in that persons earshot or presence, that you did not share Christ...
