You Used to Be.....

As I meditate on this verse I'am thankful that though I was once completely wicked through and through, now I'am completely clean and righteous through the blood of Jesus and the power of God.....! This is a verse that is good to remind yourself especially, if you have made mistakes as a CHRISTian. Have you done EVERYTHING right since you accepted CHRIST as LORD? No more curse words right? No more compromising right? No more sex before marriage right? No more anger issues either right?! RIGHT! EXACTLY! THERE IS a war going on in our members!!! If your spirit isn't warring against your flesh and your flesh against your spirit then please stop where you are right now and REPENT!!! There are only 2 people who do not struggle in the flesh, the dead and the sinner. As a sinner I sinned...NO PROBLEM. As a CHRISTian....sin isn't easy, nor is it desirable, and I HATE WHEN I MISS IT!!!!
Let's look at verse again.

1 Corinthians 6:11
Amplified Bible (AMP)

11And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.

Right now you have been pronounced righteous!!!You who are struggling always instantly repent and ask God for His help. Nobody can help us like GOD. He made us, and He is willing to sustain us. Don't let the devil or people heap punishment and condemnation on you for who you used to be! Tell them you are washed, you are consecrated, you are justified because you TRUST in the name of the LORD!!!!
It's no longer about who you used to be....but about who Elohim your Creator says you are now that you have repented. AS you witness, show them this Scripture or recite it....it's God's promise to us and a joy giver for sure (-:
