Give a Hand to the King

A little boy once stood outside the gates of Buckingham palace in London. He wanted to talk to the king but was sternly repulsed by the guard at the gate. The little boy rubbed a grimy hand to his cheek to wipe away a tear. Just then along came a well dressed man who asked the little fellow to explain his trouble. When the man heard the story from the little boy the man smiled and said, "Here, hold my hand sonny, I'll get you in. Just you never mind the soldiers." The little boy grabbed the mans hand and to his surprise saw the soldiers leap to attention and present arms as his new found friend approached. Past the guards, along carpeted halls, through wide flung doors and on through a glittering throng right up to the throne of the king. This little boy had taken the hand of the Prince of wales, the king's son! Through him the little boy had access to the king.

Praise God!!! That's exactly what has been done for us through Jesus...We have been given all access to the Father! Why? So that we can bring others into a saving knowledge of God through Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!!!
As you and I interact with people today, this weekend, and this week... see yourself as the one taking that sinner to "The King" and the one going outside of the gates of the palace to seek others out as well!! That's why I love God so much! He didn't wait for me to come to Him like an earthly ruler does God sent His Son Jesus to come down here and seek you and I out!! How can we keep silent about a LOVE that is not stationary and doesn't demand that we come to Him first?! I know you can't, and neither can I!LOL!!!
Say this with me, I will with all that is in me and with all that I possess -will lovingly and gently take others by the hand and bring them to the King!!

God richly bless the works of your hands as you walk out The Great Commission!

Be prepared, Be yourself, Be obedient and Be joyful

Last Things First

The Great Commission - A Personal Instruction
The Great Commission is one of the most significant passages in the Holy Bible. First, it's the last recorded personal instruction given by Jesus to His disciples. Second, it's a special calling from Jesus Christ to all His followers to take specific action while on this earth. The Great Commission is found in the Gospel of Matthew:

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)

The Great Commission - Its Significance for Christians
The Great Commission is the end of a Gospel and the beginning of faith in action for all Christians. This command from Jesus is significant because it's a personal instruction for Christians to have a profound faith in Jesus Christ as indicated in verse 18. "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." This is an incredibly powerful statement which demands faith in Jesus Christ, validating His power in the lives of Christians and their commitment to Him. This verse acts as a clear claim to Christ's omnipotence, and therefore His deity. If Christians do not believe this statement, complete faith does not exist.

The Great Commission - A Personal Calling
In the Great Commission, Jesus calls every Christian to step out in faith and spread the Good News. This is faith in action! People who obey this command change their spiritual lives forever! It could be spreading the Good News to a neighbor or moving to another country to reach the people there. It could be sharing with less fortunate kids down the street or spreading the Word in a town two hours away. Wherever we go, every faithful Christian is compelled through obedience to share the Gospel. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, where has He called you to go? Who has God put on your heart to share the gift of salvation? What small or large steps can you take, with the knowledge that Christ will be by your side, "to make disciples of all the nations"?

Remember...Jesus has already set the example of what He wants and expects us to do.

House on Fire

Last night our Pastor purchased and presented the Way of the Master Evangelism Course and it is really good!! Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort come straight from the Scriptures and they are excellent teachers! They gave an excellent analogy about a house fire. They explained that those that we come into contact with are going to Hell without Jesus. They said what would you do if you saw your neighbors house on fire or your relatives house. Would you just sit there and watch it burn with your friends or family inside? Wouldn't you run over there and do whatever you could to save them from the fire?! Check out this Scripture

Jude 1:23 -- and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Just stop for a minute and think about that. There are people in our lives..all around us with their houses on fire and all God is commanding us is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Letting them know that they are in a state of sin and they need to repent, and only Jesus can gain them entrance into God's royal family. That's it. I want to encourage you to check out their website http://www.wayofthemaster.com and help snatch some folk out of the fire!

Remember sharing Jesus is a command and God has equipped us already to do it-- so let's get to it!!!

Mark 16:15

And He said unto them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.

Services = Soul Winning

Ok fam so I just want to give you another way to evangelize. If you are getting cable, direct tv, or having any contracting work done? Take full advantage of that visit or visits by those service professionals.
Recently we had a cable guy at our house and as he was hurrying on to his next job I went up to him quickly and talked to him! I then gave him a tract and a church invitation card because he was in a hurry!!! Sometimes people won't take the time needed to give them the Word and lead them to the LORD and that's ok! We have to use discernment in our soul winning efforts.
We want people to be relaxed as much as possible and definitely not in a hurry. That's where discernment comes in, let God lead you because only God knows if that person will have another opportunity to repent before they step into eternity. One Scripture that you can pray is 1 Chronicles 12:32- And of the children of Issachar, who were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command.

We have the Holy Spirit and we have the same ability as the children of Issachar, to understand the times and know what to do...

Be prepared, Be yourself, Be obedient and Be joyful

Share Jesus-The Ultimate Valentine!

With Valentines Day approaching I want to encourage you to get your tracts ready a few Scriptures and go ahead and make the greatest "Lover of Mankind" known--Jesus as you celebrate with your honey this weekend. Wherever you may be going restaurant, hotel, sporting event, museum, movies, etc.. have your Word, tracts,& testimony locked and loaded!!

Remember tracts can go anywhere! So ladies when you need to freshen up and head to the ladies room go ahead and take those tracts and leave them in the unoccupied stalls or by the mirror. Guys I'm not sure what kind of room you have in the mens room but leave a tract or two or three where you can.

As always if you are going to leave a tract on the table at the restaurant please leave a tip. I'm not going to give you a dollar amount because any type of giving should be from ones heart..EXCEPT the tithe! (-:

I'm excited about Valentines Day, because while we are celebrating our love to each other we can also celebrate the worlds "Ultimate Valentine Jesus." How wonderful it will be for those who read our tracts or those we get to have a word with about the LORD, come to receive "LOVE HIMSELF" on Valentines Day.....I love the thought of that!

Jesus has set the example of what He has asked us to do.

They Loved Not Their Lives to the Death

Hello there fellow workers of the King, I pray you have had a grand start to your week! Today I want to share something with you, I do not wish to scare you or discourage you from a lifestyle of evangelism but I want you to really stop and think about just how deep your commitment to God is. If nothing can separate us from God's love, what can separate us from doing His will? Let me share my story with you.

I told you all about my big lighted cross on the front of my house right ok. Well the other day I came home and there were 3 Muslim men sitting in front of my house in a cab/van. When I parked my car they all got out of the van and immediately got into another vehicle parked in front of the van. I politely asked them how they were doing they responded but only one older gentleman looked me in eye, the other two looked down at the ground. Then they drove off, the van going one way the car going another way.

As I went into my house thoughts started to rush through my mind. My husband came home minutes later and I told him what had happened. I told him maybe the cross outside had attracted their attention, I really don't know. At that point my husband told me that no matter what reasons they had for being parked in front of our house, the cross was staying on the house. What joy flooded my soul to hear him say that!!! My husband used to be a gang banger so sometimes he uses that vocab and this was one of those times, he then went on to say " We bang for Jesus no matter what the cost!!!"

No matter what the cost
...I have NEVER been worried about the cost before until I saw those guys in front of my house. I've been on the streets witnessing, in people's houses, at work, just about everywhere sharing Christ but it wasn't until last Friday that I actually came face to face with the fact, that we just might taste some adversity from this sect. So then my tracts arrived in the mail and one of them had to do with a someone trying to kill this Christian woman and running up on her angel!! I was like YES!!!! More than that tract though family of God- the Word of God is ringing loud in my spirit and I'm so encouraged!!! The extremely sweet and powerful Word of God says that They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony AND they loved not their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11
Brothers and sisters of the Lamb be encouraged today, God has us whether we live or die unto Him or for Him--He has us. We are not going to let the enemy run us off or paralyze us thereby keeping us from doing the will of God and neither should you. Make up in your mind today that no matter what the cost is...you are going to do the will of God and share Christ however He tells too.

Be prepared, Be yourself, Be obedient and Be joyful

Called or Not Called- That is the Question!!!

NOT CALLED!'did you say? 'Not heard the call; I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to it's pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their brothers and sisters and servants and master- not to come here. And look Christ in the face, whose mercy you have professed to obey, and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world.
