Halloween Is Coming Are You Ready To SHINE?!!

The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, Toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,
The people that sat in darkness saw a great Light, And to them that sat in the region and shadow of death, To them did Light spring up.
From that time began Jesus to preach, and to say, Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:15-17

As we read this passage of God's Holy Word, we recognize Christ is the "Light" and just like all over the world today, in our families, in our churches, on our jobs, schools, neighborhoods, etc... there are many "sitting in darkness."
As Halloween approaches there are many personal stories I could share with you regarding the evil done in preparation of that particular dark day. I'm sure most of us have done our research and have friends and family that God has brought out of satanism etc...enough said about that fallen angel today. SO let's be like the tribe of Judah, the Bible says, that they recognized the time and knew what to do!! Children and adults will be coming to your house that don't know Christ, P L E A S E -- SEIZE THE MOMENT and share Christ! There are so many ways to do that. One way is to get goody bags filled with: candy, real fruit snacks, some helpful kid information like the importance of exercise, a church flyer and a Gospel tract.
Do you like to act? Do you like to dress up? Well get you a Jesus outfit and when the kids come to your door, open up and represent! If they ask you who you are supposed to be-- tell them!

Now if you live in a neighborhood where the kids don't trick or treat, find out if your church is doing anything and get behind them. Go buy some candy and volunteer for the evening. Seeing a child of any age come to Christ is so precious. As saints we need to make the most of all opportunities and special days, even if we don't recognize them as Christian Holydays. Honestly everyday should have the same importance thrust upon it as Halloween, because everyday there are people that need the saving and delivering power of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Remember as you witness, The LIGHT of CHRIST shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not and will not ever put that LIGHT out!

Let God Urge Men to Christ Through YOU! 2 Corinthians 5:20
