Our memory verses are both powerful and promising!!! Did you memeorize them! GREAT, because it's a Word from GOD that will not only help us and encourage us on our journey, but will also help those that God WILL bring across our paths.
As I continue to meditate on this Scripture the more it encourages me, to encourage somebody else that although you may be a rough thing NOW God is gonna make you smooth!!! Some people that you and I are going to encounter I believe will have been shaped by rough or demanding parents. Some of them may be crooked! Not crooked as in dishonest, but crooked or crippled to some degree emotionally. So whether we are dealing with unbelievers or CHRISTians, we need to tell them that Jesus promises to straighten and smooth them out! In this life we all have or will face scarring, hurt, trauma, drama and wounds, the GREAT thing is that there is nothing that has happened or will happen to anybody that JESUS can't heal, reconcile, resurrect, or recover! HALLELUJAH!!!
As we all yield those hurts and wounds, crooked and rough places to Him, He will get us straight so we can help lead others to the ultimate "Straightener" Jesus Christ (-:
