Hebrew 4:14-16
14Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed into the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our profession.
15For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Let us hold fast to our profession seeing as how Jesus has our back! We don't have to worry about life down here. Worry is a sin and it's just another form of doubt. A study was done of about 300 college students and those who were listed as worriers failed! Worry breeds more worry faith breeds more faith. HOLD FAST!!! We may not know how GOD is going to get us through day to day but He always does right. There are so many hurting and scared right now. People are loosing jobs, homes,cars, their emotions are taxed, families are falling apart, people are getting weary and feel they have no hope! CHRISTians WE are to be proclaimers of hope! We are to tell them that GOD will help them get through all of that other stuff, but there is a greater issue at hand that needs to be taken care of first the condition of their soul!!!!
Once they repent and come to a saving knowledge of JESUS CHRIST-- GOD can and will move for them in ways that are unimaginable!!! He WILL do BIG things and little things for them!!! Mainly He will DO that which is BEST for us even if we don't necessarily like what He's done but He's GOD!!!!! He can do whatever, whenever, however....are response needs to simply be THANK YOU!!!!! As you lead people to Jesus this week there will be plenty of opportunities to meet physical needs DO THAT, but make sure that you take care of their SPIRITUAL need for Salvation as well.
