A Labor of Love in 2010

If you are like me, you don't focus on rewards. You love people and you don't want anybody to bust hell wide open. You love people and you want them to know about The Savior of the world! You love people and you don't want them to live another moment in the kingdom of darkness but in the kingdom of God's dear Son. Today this thought rung loudly in my spirit. What does God consider success???? Is it how many people I get the privilege of actually praying with to receive Jesus? Is it how many tracts I can give out a month? The Scripture below helps to solve the mystery.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8 (21st Century King James Version)

6I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

7So then, neither is he that planteth anything, nor he that watereth, but God who giveth the increase.

8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one, and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Look again at that last verse..every man shall receive his own reward according to his own LABOR. So that whole passage tells us that we have to be obedient to the Ministry of Reconciliation and DO SOMETHING, we should always be planting or watering! Glory to God!!!

Momma used to say there is more than one way to skin a cat...there is more than one way to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. How many of us have MySpace, Twitter, Facebook and whatever else is out there?! Are you using it at any given time for Kingdom business? Can you imagine how Jesus and the Apostles would use the internet if they had it back in their day? They'd be turning the world upside down and the internet too!LOL!! Food for thought..how many of your friends or followers NEED reconciling to GOD? I don't know myself so I make sure to put enough info on my FB page daily so they will know how to call out to God for reconciling through the blood of Jesus.

Luke 10:27 & 28

²⁷And he answering said, "`Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself.'"

²⁸And He said unto him, "Thou hast answered right; this do, and thou shalt live."

It's time to "Love" Kingdom Style!! Are you willing to give more time,energy, and resources to help fill the Father's House?!!? I think you are so let's go love some folks into Heaven!!!
