Following In the Steps Of Christ
Acts 10:38 (New Living Translation) And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. This verse says it all doesn't it? It shows our LORD doing. He is not an idle LORD, He is not one to wait for the lost and hurting to come to Him, no. He goes around sharing wisdom, teaching about the Kingdom, reaching out and healing, wanting to give a helping hand to any one who wanted His help. Jesus was active, active in His community... as much as He could anyway. Remember their unbelief made Him marvel, but He still was able to heal a few folk there. He went from village to village, He crossed the sea, He went about daily doing good! What an example He has left us. So, where have you been going and what good have you been doing? Maybe you volunteer. Maybe you just walk around your enighborhood or community with some other Saints just believing God to guide and direct you to someone who needs Christ or needs help. Now let's talk about healing. Do you have the faith to believe that you can cast out demons? If not I encourage you to get into the Word and into your prayer closet so, that your faith can increase. I believe we as Christians tolerate the devil far too much, instead of casting him out!!! As a Spirit filled Believer meditate on Luke 10:19. This is a verse that has always stuck with me as I have had some encounters with demons over the last 30 years of my journey with Christ. Let me tell you, demons flee at the name of Jesus. My daughter was 10 when she was visited by a demon who appeared to her looking like the witch from Snow White. She looked at it, it looked back at her and just stood there looking at her like please don't make me leave. She rebuked it in the name of Jesus and it disappeared. Now if a 10 yr old CHRISTian can rebuke a demon......ok! Saints of the MOST HIGH GOD we can do the works that Jesus did and greater works because Jesus said we would. We can follow in His steps because just like God was with Him, God is also with us. We have been licensed by the King of kings and Lord of Lords to win the lost, and to do the works of our Master. NOW is the time to build up your most holy faith and do good. (-:
